About Bullfrogs and Butterflies

At Bullfrogs and Butterflies we're not just babysitting your children while you're at work. Our programs will enhance their learning skills through visual, auditory and kinesthetic experiences. Dance, music, cooking, and gardening are only a few examples of our well rounded program.

Our partners in education will also visit the school and teach the children about safety, health, and nutrition, with information that also goes home with parents. Community helpers like fire fighters, police officers, local museums, and health professionals will enhance the thematic units and lesson plans.

We believe a well rounded child is developed by experiencing multiple educational opportunities. We strive to help the children develop a strong sense of responsibility, and have them understand the importance of maintaining valued self-esteem.

Owner/Operator Biographies:

Heather, the Director and mother of three, holds a BS in Education from Old Dominion University. She has completed her classroom requirements for her MS in Education and also holds a Masters Certificate in Project Management.

Ginger, the Program / Facility Coordinator and mother of two, holds a BS in Accounting from Old Dominion University. She has an extensive financial background in the corporate arena with more than 15 years experience.

Kelly Ann Sebree, LCSW -- holds a Masters degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has more than 13 years of significant experience working with children and families, identifying and resolving early childhood issues that may become barriers to future school success. Mrs. Sebree currently manages a School Behavioral Health Program and provides direct therapeutic services for children at her private practice.
